Balancing Act--Help, I'm Falling!

I have to admit to having problems balancing my time lately. I want to compete this Spring in a body building contest, I have a book to write, my teenage son needs some help with English--especially his writing skills! (Yes, I'm aghast.)--AND I have two books coming in print, one in March and one in April, that I need to do promo for. On top of that, looks like my brother may have Parkinson and my sister and I are dealing with that. Plus with hubby's new job, life has, to say the least, been interesting.

So, the old prioritization skills have been coming into play--which is why you haven't heard from me as frequently as I would like. And I'm so sorry! But, once things are prioritized everything else seems to fall into place. One must ask, what is the MOST important thing that needs to be done at the moment? For me, family always comes first. Son's writing skills are improving. Brother seems to be taking better care of self. Now, to get down to writing. I've been balancing the promo and writing time, but writing seems to suffer. So what did I do? Signed myself up for a book-in-a-month writing spree with my local romance writers chapter. Pressure? Yeah, but sometimes yuh just gotta do it.

So here I go. Hope ya'll have a blessed month! Oh, and wish my luck on the Romantic Times Reviewers Choice Awards! On Danger's Edge is in the Small Press category! I'm praying about it. I love everyone who's in it, but is it too selfish to want to win? Hope not. Love you all!
